Install Jelly Bean on Sony Xperia Play via MIUI 2.8.17 on CM10

Xperia Play is an amazing Android device that many people love. Many developments come up time and again in the field of Xperia Play so as to enhance the use as well as features of Sony Xperia Play. We came across the new ROM (in the alpha stage) for Xperia Play. This ROM is based on CM10-FXP134 and MIUI Jelly Bean for Galaxy Nexus. We heartily thank and congratulate XDA developer CosmicDan for sharing this ROM.As per the developer he has been using CM10 based MIUI ROM for Xperia Play. He finds it kind of stable. Even though some bugs are still there. But since this is the alpha stage we can expect a few changes ahead.

Things that are working in MIUI Jelly Bean ROM for Xperia Play:

Install Turbo MIUI JB ROM for Xperia Play on CM10

1. Take a complete back up of your phone first.
2. Download the CM10 FXP-Turbo2 for Turbo MIUI kernel. (the first download link).
3. On your PC’s command prompt execute the following commands. With this there will be kernel installation. Fastboot flash boot boot.img    Fastboot erase system   Fastboot erase userdata.
4. Now you need to download Turbo MIUI5 v0.1.20817 and copy to SDCard. To enter Recovery on this kernel, press Back when you feel the vibration just gets the very first logo.
5.  After that you must install the ZIP update as normal.
