Root Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7/7.0 Plus on Android 4.0.4 ICS
- The very first thing you need to do is download these two files: CWM.zip and root.zip.
- Put these two files on SD card.
- Reboot the device to recovery.
- Choose apply update from external storage.
- Now, you must choose CWM.zip and wait until CWM recovery appears.
- As soon as CWM recovery appears you must navigate the options on the screen. It is important to note that this CWM Recovery is only on the temporary basis.
- Choose Install zip from SD card.
- Choose zip from SD card.
- Choose Root.zip.
- Press Yes and install root.zip.
- Choose reboot system now.
- You have rooted the device with super user app. But the CWM recovery is temporary. If you don’t need CWM recovery you can stop it.
- Once you reboot the device, you are done.
